The NanoAble-150 Liposome Extruder, also known as a liposome extrusion device, thin film extruder, exosome extruder, or artificial cell membrane squeezer, is meticulously engineered to create liposomes with distinct particle sizes and structural features. It employs mechanical extrusion to transform biomacromolecules like phospholipids into liposomes. It’s devised to convert multilayer liposome suspensions to yield single-layer liposomes, serving as a facile method for preparing monolayer liposomes.
When utilizing the extruder, the liposome sample needs to be injected into the sample cylinder first, and then the equipment operation is controlled by an air source or infusion pump, enabling the extrusion of the liposome sample, which can be collected through the sampling port. The convenience in operation, temperature control, and compatibility with other power sources like homogenizers or high-pressure feed pumps highlight the user-friendly and versatile nature of the NanoAble-150, making it a reliable choice for various applications.
